Road Resurfacing Schedule

Weather permitting, this will be the City of Elkhart Street Department paving schedule from Monday May 18th through Friday May 22nd, 2026. Vehicles should be removed from the street prior to 7am and not return until after 7pm OR until barricades are removed. Please DO NOT adjust or remove any barricades from the site, as they are placed for our safety, as well as all citizen's safety. Sidewalks and/or alleyways will be accessible to and from your home/business, but street access will be prohibited during the paving/milling process.

5/18 Monday: Paving

1. 6th St. – Lusher Ave. to Indiana Ave (restricted lanes)

5/19 Tuesday: Paving

1. 6th St. – Indiana Ave. to Dr. King Dr.

5/20 Wednesday: Paving

1. 1517 6th St. alleyways - from 6th St. to 7th St. & Indiana to Garfield

5/21 Thursday: Paving

1. EFD Training center facility

5/22 Friday: Patching

1. Desmond Ave. – West Dead End to Prairie Ave.
