Road Resurfacing Schedule

Weather permitting, this will be the City of Elkhart Street Department milling schedule from Monday July 6th through Friday July 10th, 2026. Vehicles should be removed from the street prior to 7am and not return until after 7pm OR until barricades are removed. Please DO NOT adjust or remove any barricades from the site, as they are placed for our safety, as well as all citizen's safety. Sidewalks and/or alleyways will be accessible to and from your home/business, but street access will be prohibited during the paving/milling process.

7/6 Monday: Milling

1. Sherman St. – 3rd St. to Clyde St. (Sherman St. Bridge)
2. Clyde St. – Sherman St. to Jefferson St.
3. Jefferson St. – 3rd St. to west dead end

7/7 Tuesday: Milling

1. Vistula St. – 3rd St. to Franklin St.
2. W. Lexington Ave. – 3rd St. to 6th St. (Lexington St Bridge)

7/8 Wednesday: Milling

1. W. Lexington Ave. – 3rd St. to 6th St. (Lexington St Bridge)
2. 4th St. – W. Lexington Ave. to High St.
3. 5th St. – W. Lexington Ave. to High St.
4. 6th St. – Vistula St. to W. Franklin Ave.

7/9 Thursday: Milling

1. Gardner Ct. – Vistula St to Hillside Ct.
2. Hillside Ct. – Gardner Ct to High St.
3. W. High St. – Hillside Ct to Vistula St.
4. 317 W. High St. alley and lot – Probation office alley & lot

7/10 Friday: Milling

1. E. Beardsley Ave. – Osolo Rd. to Howard St.
