Tax Abatement

Tax abatement (tax phase-in) is a tool to help create, attract, and expand businesses. Following approval, applicants can receive a tax deduction from the assessed valuation of qualifying real estate improvements and/or business personal property. 

Businesses located in the City of Elkhart are eligible to apply.
