NIBCO Water & Ice Park transforms into a winter favorite each year with a scenic outdoor ice trail, cozy vibes, and plenty of space to skate with friends and family. Whether you’re here for a relaxing glide or ready to try something new on skates, this downtown spot is designed for all ages and skill levels. It’s one of our most beloved seasonal amenities and a must-visit during the colder months.

Private Rentals

Looking for the perfect venue for your company's holiday event or a delightful winter activity for friends and family? Look no further than NIBCO Water & Ice Park, where you can skate along a unique trail adorned with sparkling lights against an urban backdrop. It's the ideal setting to create unforgettable memories with your loved ones.

Private rental is available during non-business hours throughout the week. Ten days' advance notice and a completed Facility Reservation Agreement are required.

Rental Fee: $400 for 2 hours
Fee includes admission and labor charges.
Skate Rental: $3.00 per person

  • All patrons who enter the ice rink acknowledge that they are skating at their own risk and accept all inherent dangers associated with ice skating.
  • Skating in a manner that endangers or interferes with other skaters’ safety or pleasure is strictly forbidden
  • Roughness, excessive speeding, or weaving through other skaters is prohibited.
  • No carrying or lifting children while on the ice.
  • Skaters are not allowed to carry children or secondary items, such as cameras, handbags, headsets, or cell phones, while skating.
  • If you have an injury, please notify a guard immediately.
  • Helmets are strongly encouraged for all patrons while on the ice to enhance safety and reduce the risk of injury.
  • Please treat staff with respect at all times.
  • Anyone who disregards the facility’s policies and rules may be removed at the discretion of NIBCO Management.
  • An adult must accompany children under 7 on the ice.
  • Guardians must remain within the skate guard’s line of sight whenever their child is on the ice.
  • Everyone on the ice must have skates unless permitted by NIBCO Management.
  • No unapproved equipment on the ice unless approved by NIBCO Management.
  • Only approved games by NIBCO Management are allowed.
  • Figure skaters using the center of the rink during public sessions must be aware of beginners and exercise caution when performing jumps and spins.
  • No eating or drinking is permitted on the ice.
  • No alcoholic beverages allowed in the Water and Ice Park unless approved by the Park Board.
  • No smoking or vaping on or around rink premises.
  • Outside food and drinks are not permitted unless approved by NIBCO Management.
  • Skates are only allowed on the ice and black matting.
  • Patrons must not sit on, lean over, or leave articles on the dasher boards and railings.
  • Rental skates must be returned immediately after the session.
  • We encourage patrons to lock all personal belongings in a locker provided in the skate rental area. Locks are available to rent.
  • The City of Elkhart Parks & Recreation Department is not responsible for lost, stolen, or broken items.
  • The City of Elkhart Parks & Recreation Department has the right and obligation to close the facility whenever conditions (including weather) present a hazard.
  • Failure to follow any of the above rules will result in immediate removal from the property without refund.
