A Yearly Membership is required for entry to the Dr. Frank Booth Dog Park. Membership is $25 per year.

Memberships can be purchased at City Hall, 229 S. 2nd St., Elkhart.

Proof of current vaccinations is required.

Dogs living within Elkhart City limits must also be registered with the city. 

• The following are prohibited in the dog park:
  • Choke/pinch collars
  • Aggressive dogs
  • Dogs in heat
  • Sick dogs
  • Puppies under 4 months
  • Human & dog food/treats
  • Smoking
  • Alcoholic beverages
  • Glass containers
  • Strollers
  • Bicycles
  • Children's toys
• Owners are legally responsible for their own dogs and any injuries caused by them. This run is not patrolled regularly. By entering the off-leash dog run, you acknowledge that the City is not responsible for the safety of your pet, person, or property.
• All dogs must be up-to-date on rabies and other zoonotic disease vaccinations.
• Aggressive dogs of any size are not allowed. Owners of dogs exhibiting aggressive behavior toward other dogs and/or people must immediately remove their dog from the park.
• The owner is allowed to bring up to two dogs into the park at once.
• Strollers, wagons, bicycles, skateboards, or motorized vehicles are not permitted inside the park. 
• All dogs must always wear a collar and ID tags.
• Owners must clean up after their dogs. Waste bags are provided; please replace them when needed. 
• Animals other than dogs are not allowed.
• A current membership is required before entering the dog park.
