The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has regulations for unmanned aircraft systems (UAS), commonly known as drones. These regulations are primarily outlined in 14 CFR Part 107 and apply to small unmanned aircraft weighing less than 55 pounds. Always contact your local airport and obey all regulations pertaining to your circumstances before operating any drone.
