The mission of Building and Code is to ensure the safety, integrity, and sustainability of our built environment through professional inspections, code compliance, and efficient permit processing.

Building Division

The Building Division is responsible for reviewing all construction documents as well as all building inspections within the city limits.

Code Enforcement Division

In efforts of maintaining a clean and safe city, Code Enforcement Officers conduct inspections of properties for compliance with minimum housing standards, property maintenance, trash, and tall grass and weed ordinances.

Permit Center Division

Submit Permit, License, and Rental Property Applications, find instructions, guides, and fees.

Electrical, Mechanical & Plumbing Division

The Electrical, Mechanical & Plumbing Division is responsible for conducting all electrical, mechanical, and plumbing inspections within the city limits.

Order To Take Action & Demolition Bids

Order To Take Action & Demolition Bids is responsible for bringing unsafe structures into compliance.
