Redevelopment Commission

The Redevelopment Commission is comprised of five members: three members are appointed by the mayor; two members are appointed by City Council. Additionally, one nonvoting advisor from the School Board is selected by the mayor to participate in commission meetings.

The commission oversees the Department of Redevelopment’s efforts addressing development barriers in our community and funding impactful projects which improve the vitality and character of our city. These investments attract private development, provide employment opportunities, increase housing options, boost visitation, and contribute to our overall economic stability.
