Board of Aviation Commissioners

The Board of Aviation Commissioners is comprised of four members appointed by the mayor. Their responsibilities are to oversee local airport operations, management, safety and development and setting policy. The Board also ensures compliance with federal/state rules (FAA/INDOT), and promotes growth through projects, grants, and community relations, acting as a governing body for the City of Elkhart's aviation facilities.
